Turkey Meatloaf
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground turkey
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp (OseOji Okpoo) spice blend
- 1 egg (optional, for binding)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional: A sprinkle of smoky mix in the mixture
Instructions:
- Mix: In a bowl, combine ground turkey, grated onion, garlic, spice blend, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and optional smoky mix.
- Shape: Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place in a greased baking dish.
- Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 45–50 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve: Slice and serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
