Beef Satay with Peanut-Coconut Sauce

Ingredients: 
  • 500 g beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tbsp (Umimi) spice blend
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Wooden skewers (soaked for 30 minutes)
  • For the Sauce:
    • 1/2 cup coconut milk
    • 2 tbsp peanut butter
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1 tsp grated ginger
    • Optional: A pinch of smoky mix
Instructions:
  1. Marinate: Toss beef strips with the (Umimi) blend, lime juice, and olive oil. Let marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. Skewer: Thread the beef onto skewers.
  3. Grill: Grill over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side until just cooked.
  4. Prepare Sauce: In a small saucepan, gently heat coconut milk, peanut butter, garlic, and ginger until smooth; stir in optional smoky mix.
  5. Serve: Drizzle the sauce over skewers or serve on the side with a garnish of fresh herbs.
