Braised Pork Shoulder
Ingredients:
- 1 kg pork shoulder, cut into chunks
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp (OsoNri) spice blend
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional: A light sprinkle of smoky mix
- Fresh thyme for garnish
Instructions:
- Brown Pork: Heat olive oil in a heavy pot over medium-high heat. Brown the pork chunks on all sides.
- Sauté Aromatics: Add onion and garlic; cook until they begin to soften.
- Simmer: Stir in the (OsoNri) blend and pour in chicken broth. Add smoky mix if desired. Cover and let simmer on low heat for 2–2.5 hours until the pork is melt-in-your-mouth tender.
- Finish: Garnish with fresh thyme and serve with mashed potatoes.
