Chickpea Patties

Ingredients: 
  • 1 can (400 g) chickpeas, drained and mashed
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp (OseOji Okpoo) spice blend
  • 1/4 cup chickpea flour (or gram flour)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
  1. Mix: Combine mashed chickpeas, onion, garlic, spice blend, chickpea flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Form Patties: Shape the mixture into small, flat patties.
  3. Cook: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and fry patties for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
  4. Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve with a tangy dipping sauce.
