Chickpea Patties
Ingredients:
- 1 can (400 g) chickpeas, drained and mashed
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp (OseOji Okpoo) spice blend
- 1/4 cup chickpea flour (or gram flour)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Mix: Combine mashed chickpeas, onion, garlic, spice blend, chickpea flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Form Patties: Shape the mixture into small, flat patties.
- Cook: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and fry patties for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve with a tangy dipping sauce.
