Pan-Seared Fish Cakes

Ingredients: 
  • 500 g white fish fillets, skin removed
  • 1 small potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp (IheAzu) spice blend
  • 1 egg (optional, to bind)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp oil
Instructions:
  1. Blend: In a food processor, pulse fish until coarsely chopped. Transfer to a bowl.
  2. Mix: Add mashed potato, onion, garlic, (IheAzu) blend, egg (if using), and flour. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form Cakes: Shape the mixture into small patties.
  4. Cook: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat; fry patties for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Serve: Enjoy with a side salad or tartar sauce.
