Pan-Seared Fish Cakes
Ingredients:
- 500 g white fish fillets, skin removed
- 1 small potato, boiled and mashed
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp (IheAzu) spice blend
- 1 egg (optional, to bind)
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions:
- Blend: In a food processor, pulse fish until coarsely chopped. Transfer to a bowl.
- Mix: Add mashed potato, onion, garlic, (IheAzu) blend, egg (if using), and flour. Mix until just combined.
- Form Cakes: Shape the mixture into small patties.
- Cook: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat; fry patties for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
- Serve: Enjoy with a side salad or tartar sauce.
