Pork Belly Ramen
Ingredients:
- 600 g pork belly, skin scored
- 1 large onion, quartered
- 3 garlic cloves, smashed
- 2 tbsp (Umimi) spice blend
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 200 g ramen noodles
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional: A dash of smoky mix
- Sliced green onions and soft-boiled eggs for garnish
Instructions:
- Sear Pork Belly: Rub pork belly with (Umimi) blend and smoky mix, then sear in olive oil until browned.
- Simmer: Place pork, onion, and garlic in a pot; add chicken broth and simmer for 1.5 hours until tender.
- Prepare Noodles: Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions.
- Assemble: Slice pork belly and serve atop noodles in a bowl of broth.
- Garnish: Top with green onions and soft-boiled eggs.
