Slow-Cooked Pork Shoulder
Ingredients:
- 1 kg pork shoulder, cut into chunks
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 tbsp (IheAzu) spice blend
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
- Brown the Meat: In a heavy pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown pork chunks on all sides.
- Add Aromatics: Stir in the onion and garlic; cook until translucent.
- Simmer: Sprinkle in the (IheAzu) blend and stir to coat. Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil.
- Slow Cook: Cover and reduce heat to low; simmer for 2–2.5 hours until pork is meltingly tender.
- Serve: Enjoy with mashed potatoes or a side of roasted vegetables.
