Turkey Stuffed Peppers
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground turkey
- 4 large bell peppers, tops cut off and seeded
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp (OseOji Okpoo) spice blend
- 1/2 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: A dash of smoky mix
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat: Set oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix ground turkey, onion, garlic, spice blend, rice, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and optional smoky mix.
- Stuff: Fill each bell pepper with the turkey mixture.
- Bake: Place stuffed peppers in a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Finish: Garnish with basil and serve warm.
