Veggie Sauce
Ingredients: Fresh tomatoes, fresh chilli, onions, oil, Ifvenli mixed spice seasoning, garlic, salt and (Optional: spices, herbs and vegetables of choice).
- Wash and chop the tomatoes, chilli, onions and garlic.
- Add ifvenli mixed spice seasoning, salt (if required) and mix thoroughly
- Pour some oil in a frying pan or pot and heat up.
- Pour in the mix and fry until desired.
- Allow to cool, store in portable containers.
- Refrigerate or freeze.
- Use as a sauce for foods like rice, potatoes, breads, etc.
Style options:
- You can add other spices or herbs in addition to ifvenli mixed spice.
- You can add other things like vegetables of choice like washed and chopped leafy greens then switch off heat and cover.
